Balsamic Butter Sauce

1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter
1 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar

Variations:

While browning butter, add one or more of the following:

Cinnamon

Sage 

Thyme 

Over medium heat melt the butter in a large skillet until browned, approximately 4 minutes.  Remove from heat. Carefully add herb and vinegar (mixture will bubble up).   Layer sauce and ravioli.

Makes 6 servings.

Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter

1/4 cup Lemon Juice

2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic (or to taste)

Over medium heat melt the butter in a large skillet and add lemon juice and garlic.  Continue to cook unti butter is clarified.  Layer sauce and ravioli.
